The CALL is open for the second intake of Danube AgriFood Joint Master (DAFM) program funded by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) for 6 years with the coordination of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE).

The application for the master program has been launched and will be open until 31th January, 2023 at https://apply.stipendiumhungaricum.hu/courses/course/3130-dafm-danube-agrifood-master--joint-master-program?search=17354037.

Students having a Master’s degree in Agriculture or Food Science can apply from all over the world. Non-EU applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree (first degree). EU citizen applicants can be in the last year of their Bachelor studies and graduate before the Master’s programme starts in 2023 September.

Please also note that the maximum number of scholarship holders is 2 person per country. Once one of your graduates receives the award, it will definitely increase the reputation of your institution as well.

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters are high-level and integrated study programmes at master level. They are designed and delivered by an international partnership of higher education institutions. By supporting these jointly recognised Master’s degrees, the EU aims at fostering excellence and internationalisation of the participating institutions. There are also scholarships for students to take part in these prestigious programmes. Scholarships cover the cost of a student’s participation in the programme, insurance, travel and a living allowance (the last two as a direct payment of 1400 EUR/month for 24 months).

„The EMJM is critical to achieving strategic food production and security goals. The scientific areas of the academic content are properly identified. The project has potential to increase the attractiveness of the European Higher Education Area, which is attributed to the popularity of previous editions, successes and accolades of the programme, and the strong participation of the food industry. The strategy for internationalisation is credible since results of the programme can be transferred and adapted to any river basin region.” (ERASMUS Office EACEA)

We would be pleased to welcome your interested students, so please disseminate and circulate our call and visit our website: www.agrifoodmaster.eu

We are looking forward to starting a very fruitful cooperation under the Danube AgriFood project.

Best regards,
