The Museum of Pathological Anatomy

The Museum–Audience of Pathological Anatomy of the ADAU was created in the 50-70s of the last century by Professor A.M. Khalilov and associate professor F.Namazov. Previously, the museum was located in a small room. In 2017, the museum was moved to a newly renovated, modern building. The building has four rooms. One is reserved for the museum, and the other is a projection for the removal of animal corpses, a living room and a sanitary unit for the preparation of museum peripherals and storage of reagents. The museum has a large number of interesting exhibits covering all areas of pathological anatomy. There were about 2,000 exhibits related to necrosis, atrophy, circulatory disorders, tumors, cramps, non-communicable diseases, and widespread infections and invasive diseases in Azerbaijan.
